The Knox Box system has helped firefighter and EMS professionals gain access through controlled and monitored means.  This assists crews in reducing damage made from forcible entry to homes and businesses.  After business hours no longer require an employee to drive back to work.  Are you disabled and have fallen but your door is locked?  Out of town on business or vacation and your alarm system is going off?  Adding a knox box will give you peace of mind that help will arrive and there will be no delay in gaining access to where the emergency is.

The system works by keeping a master key in the knox box on the outside of the building. The fire truck or ambulance will arrive, see the knox box and ask the county EOC to unlock the knox box key in the fire truck. This process tracks who has the key and what time the keys were used and secured.
