Members of the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department joined representatives from across Delaware's fire & EMS services to support the Delaware State Fire School. The Delaware State Fire School, now in it's 50th year, was awarded the Assistance to Firefighter's Grant (AFG) that will assist it in making upgrades to instructor's personal protective gear, radios, and classroom technology. Present to assist with the grant award announcement were Senator Chris Coons, Senator Tom Carper, and Representative John Carney. Congratulations to the Delaware State Fire School!
