On September 24th at 1710 hours Dagsboro Fire Department along with Frankford BLS were dispatched for a MVC on Vines Creek Road & Helms Landing Road. Shortly after dispatch, Engine 73-2 went responding under the command of Deputy Chief J.Marvel with a staffing of eight. Upon arrival, Deputy Chief Marvel assumed command and advised of 1 vehicle in the roadway with one on the shoulder, closing Vines Creek Road. Engine 2's crew worked quickly to secure both vehicles and assist Ambulance B73 career staff package one patient for transport. Rescue 73 marked on the air responding not long after Engine 2 under the command of Asst. Chief D.Betts with a crew of eight, upon the arrival of Rescue it's crew assisted with debris clean up. While Ambulance A73 obtained 2 patient refusals. Deputy Chief Marvel placed incident under control after the sole patient was transported by ground to a local hospital.
