At approx. 1310 the DVFD along with Frankford EMS and SCEMS 103 were alerted for a MVC. Mintues after Engine 73-2 marked on the air responding under the command of Chief S. Furbush. While enroute EOC advised 73-30 (Marty Reddington) would be on scene with 1 vehicle vs. tree with sole occupant still inside the vehicle. Upon arrival of 73-2 Chief S. Furbush established Iron Branch Rd. command, the crew then split and secured the vehicle while the others assisted ambulance 76's crew with removal and packaging of the patient for transport. Shortly there after Rescue 73 arrived on scene and assisted with debris removal. Ambulance 76 transported 1 ALS patient to BMC for evaluation of minor injuries, the scene was then turned over to DSP while fire police remained on scene to assist with traffic control until roadway was able to be opened back up.
