The DVFD was requested to assist the Millville VFD on a marsh fire at the given location. Brush 730, E731 & Tanker 73 responded on the call. Crews from Brush 730 were put to work on the eastern edge of the incident assisting crews from E702 (Bethany Beach) & E/T 844 (Millville) due to fire impingement of several residences. Tanker 73 was set up as the nurse Tanker & crews from E731 were assigned to the western edge. Crews operated for approx. 2.5 hrs before returning to service.
