Blizzard cripples Delmarva Region - Dagsboro Area

During the first blizzard that struck the Mid Atlantic region the DVFD ran a total of 18 calls, not including the numerous assist EMS calls as additional crews were sent to assist with patient removal & due to the 25 inches of snow that fell & roadway conditions. Also help the DVFD help you if you have a fire hydrant near you & are able, try to clear the snow so that in the event of a fire we can quickly connect to the hydrant.
