2nd Brush Fire of the Day - 30031 Armory Rd

While units were operating on the 1st natural cover fire, Sussex EOC advise DuPont Blvd IC to stand-by for dispatch. EOC transmitted the local assignment for a reported natural cover fire at the given address. Engine 881 (Selbyville) on transfer to the DVFD responded along with Brush 8300 (Millsboro) & Engine 732. As units were marking on the air EOC advised an out building was not reported to be on fire as well & the box assignment was transmitted, bringing Engine/Tanker 905 (Roxana) on transfer to Frankford as well as, Engine 761, Tanker 73, Brush 90 & Brush 760 from the DuPont Blvd incident. Crews arrived to find approx. 2 acres burning with extension into a small out building & exposures to several homes. Rescue Captain D. Betts had the Armory Rd. IC. Units operated for about 1 hr.
