At 23:16 the DVFD was alerted on the box assignment for a reported house fire at the above address in Millsboro. Initial reports from Millsboro PD who was on scene was a fire under the stair. Crews from Engine 834 & Ladder 83 arrived to find the baulk of the fire had been knocked by the home owner with a garden hose. Engine 731 arrived as the 2nd due engine & was assigned as the R.I.T. Crews operated for approx. 35 min before returning.
