As members of the DVFD were gathered at the station after a cancelled alarm bells call, EOC alerted the DVFD for a reported vehicle fire at the given address. Engine 731 under Chief Engineer J. Layton & a crew of 5 responded at 13:10, along with the Engine/Tanker. The rescue was also on the street coming from a public relations detail. Engine 731 arrived w/ Chief Engineer J. Layton establishing the IC. The fire had been knocked by 90-30 who was on scene. Crews secured the vehicle & cleaned up what transmission fluid had leaked. IC placed the incident under control & units were returned to service at 13:30.
