Just before midnight the Millsboro VFC, Dagsboro VFD & SCEMS ALS were alerted for a residental structure fire at the above address. Engine 834 responded followed closely by Engine 731, both units were advised the MPD was on scene with heavy fire through out the 2nd flr. & the stairwell was burned out. Engine 731 arived 2nd due & secured the water supply to Engine 834 & pulled a back up line to the second flr. to support the crew of Engine 834. Rescue 73 arrived & set up scene lighting & SCBA refill. Crews operated for approx. 2 hrs before being released. An investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshall's Office is ongoing.
