After a SNAFU on the dispatch the DVFD, Frankford VFC, Engine & Tanker 79, Truck 88 & SCEMS were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire. CMD 76 arrived 1st due to being in the area and advised nothing was evident from side A & B. Engine 761 was 1st due and sent a crew of 4 inside to investigate, 2nd due Engine 731 staged at the end of the lane in case LDH was need to be laid into the scene. Crews found the source to be a smoldering bath towel and recommended under control. Mechanical ventilation was used to remove the smoke. The balance of the assignment was returned holding Engines 731,761, Engine/Tanker 73, Engine/Tanker 76 & Rescue Co. 73. The remaining units clear after about 90 min.
