At 20:50 hrs the Sussex EOC alerted the DVFD for alarm bells at the Indian River High School. Engine 731 hit the street under the command of Lt. McGee at 20:52 with a crew of (5) five. Crews arrived and investigated an activation the elevator pit. Crew from the Engine/Tanker & Rescue Company were held in staging as they arrived. Command placed the situation under control after it was determined to be an alarm malfunction.
