A little after 14:00 DVFD units were alerted for a reported woods fire at the above location. Brush 730 marked up with a crews of (3) three under the command of Asst. Chief Donaway. Next out was Engine/Tanker 73 under Lt. Hudson with a crew of (5) five. Units were advised by EOC that they were receiving numerous calls on this incident. MVFC Chief Wooters arrived on scene and advise approx. 1/2 acre off with extension into an abandoned mobile home, which was heavily involved and inaccessible. With this information Asst. Chief Donaway requested an additional Brush, Engine & Tanker from Millsboro. Brush 73 arrived and went to work on the ground fire while the Engine/Tanker was set-up to supply and also stretched a 300' 1 3/4" line to make an attack on the structure. Additional crews were put to work as they arrived. One civilian patient was transported ALS for burns and the DSFMO is investigating the incident. Asst. Chief Donaway had Thorogoods Rd. IC, while Lt. Hudson had the operations. Crews operated for approx. 1 hr.
