While eating his Wheaties this morning a loud boom nearly caused Chief Engineer J. Layton to swallow his spoon. When he looked out his front door he saw a bad combination; A propane and a sewage truck had collided. The DVFD and Frankford EMS were alerted; Luckily for all involved there were no hazardous leaks from either vehicle and both drivers of the trucks appeared uninjured and refused treatment. Both southbound lanes of DuPont Blvd were closed for a period of time while crews cleaned up.
