Shortly after the Rescue returned from a medical call EOC alerted the DVFD, Frankford EMS, SCEMS Medic 105, Medic 103, EMS 100 & Trooper II to a MVC involving a motorcycle at 16:44. Engine 732 marked on the air at 16:47 under the command of Captain B. Blades. Amb. 84 (Millville) was added to the call after clearing a call, due to the report of poss. (2) two patient with (1) one priority 1. Engine 732 arrived to find a trike style motorcycle had been struck by a van. Captain Blades established IC & requested that Vines Creek Rd. be shut down. Rescue Company 73 arrived and was assigned to assist EMS and secure the landing zone. The operator of the motorcycle was packaged and flown to Christiana ER as a priority 1, by Trooper II, while Amb. 76 secured a refusal from the operator of the van. All units cleared and were ready for service at 17:23.
