On Saturday the DVFD along with Frankford EMS, SCEMS Medic 105, and DSP Trooper 2 were dispatched for a MVC @ above location. Asst. Chief D. Stevens (73-16) arrived shortly after dispatch and assumed Vines Creek Road Command confirming a single vehicle vs. tree with entrapment and 1 patient. Crews from Eng. 73-2 stabilized vehicle and pulled a hand line, while crews from Rescue 73 utilized O-cutters, spreaders, and the combi-tool; Asst. Chief S. Furbush (73-17) was assigned XO. Pt was stabilized by EMS crews and flown to PRMC.
