Unknown MVC leads to Full Arrest - Dupont Blvd S/B a/o Church of God

On Wednesday, 25 June at 03:06 the Sussex EOC alerted the Dagsboro VFC along with Frankford VFC EMS, for a reported motor vehicle collision, on Dupont Blvd. S/B north of Nine Foot Rd. Engine 732 under the command of Chief T. Glenn at 03:12 with a crew of (7) seven, and was advised, vehicle into a ditch, unknown of injuries or entrapment. At 03:17 Engine 732 arrived on location with Chief Glenn as IC, and advised (1) one vehicle into a ditch, investigating. Rescue Co. 73 went on the air under the command of Captain A. Townsend with a crew of (9) nine. Upon investigation crews found a male subject in Full Arrest, IC advised Rescue 73 to respond in hot and requested ALS. The crew of Engine 732 deployed their AED until BLS and ALS crews arrived. Amb. B-76 arrived and assisted the crew of Engine 732 with patient care, Rescue Co. 73 arrived and setup its light tower and assisted with patient removal. Crews packaged and loaded the patient into B-76, which was going to meet ALS enroute to the hospital. IC placed the scene under control holding units to assist the DSP F.A.I.R. Team. Upon Amb. B-76 meeting with SCEMS EMS 100 & Medic 103 the patient was pronounced priority 4 and transported to the Medical Examiners Office at NMH. IC placed all units ready for service, returning at 03:35, turning the scene over to DSP.
