DVFD gets a Busy Streak - Here, There & Everywhere

Beginning on Sunday 30 April the DVFD began running calls with most being working alarms. First came the assist to Millsboro on a large brush fire n/o town off of Gravel Hill Rd. Next, at around 17:30 a brush fire quickly upgraded to a working structure fire across the street from the Deputy's house, which brought Frankford. Then a brush fire on Gum Tree Rd. which crews made quick work of. Now at 02:30 crews were called out for a structure fire again across the street from the Deputy's house this time the saved portion of the chicken house was well involved, again bringing Frankford, and labeled suspicious. With a brief lull crews were again called to assist Millsboro on a working house fire. Then Dagsboro repaid the favor to Millsboro. Around 17:30 on Monday the DVFD was called out for a brush fire on Dupont Blvd. Chief 73 went on scene immediately with heavy smoke and unable to gain access to the fire. By the end of the fire crews from the DVFD, as well as; Frankford, Gumboro, Millsboro, Millville, Roxana, Bethany Beach, & Selbyville were operating.
