Saturday October 10th at approximately 1000 hours the DVFD was alerted to assist Ambulance 76 for a medical assist to extract a victim from the second story of a home under construction, on Waterview Drive in the Point Farm Development. Upon the arrival of the Duty Officer (Past Chief Furbush) he requested Quint 73 to respond for removal of the patient by utilizing the stokes basket from a second story window. Upon the arrival of Quint 73 crews worked to remove the patient without incident. Past Chief Furbush then placed the incident under control and Ambulance 76 transported the patient to a local medical facility for treatment of minor injuries. Great job by all involved!
