Tuesday evening September 1st at approximately 7:53pm the Sussex County EOC alerted the Dagsboro VFD, Sussex County EMS, DSP Trooper 2, along with the Millville VFC for a three vehicle accident with reported entrapment in the 30000 block of Vines Creek Road. Command 73-8 responded with Fire Chief D.Betts, upon his arrival it was found to be two vehicle accident with all occupants out of their vehicle's walking around. Shortly after dispatch Engine 73-2 responded under the direction of Deputy Chief Blades with a crew of five along with Rescue 84, upon both units arrivals crews worked to secure the electrical systems of both vehicles along with debris clean up and fluid retention, while Rescue 73 provided scene lighting to the area. Ambulances B-73 and C-84 obtained patient refusals from all occupants in both vehicles. All personnel worked for approximately one hour on scene and cleared without incident.
