On Tuesday morning DVFD was alerted for a trash can fire at 31021 Poplar Avenue; by the end of the 911 call, the alarm was upgraded to a working structure fire bringing both Millsboro/Frankford FD's and Sussex County EMS as mutual aid. A 2nd alarm was requested to bring additional manpower to the scene as well. There were no reported injuries and the cause is under investigation by Delaware State FMO.  The Officers and members of the DVFD would like to thank those departments assisting us this mornig.
