Monday May 14, 2008 at approximately 1645 hrs.  Dagsboro VFD, Frankford VFD, Millville VFD, along with Millsboro's Ladder was dispatched to a reported working residential structure fire on Piney Neck Road.  Capt. G.Betts who was in the area at the time of dispatch advised of a light smoke condition coming from the residence upon his arrival and established command.  Minutes after dispatch Engine 73-1 responded under the direction of Chief J.Marvel with a crew of 5,  once on scene it's crews made entry and confirmed that the stove fire had been extinguished prior to arrival.  Engine/Tanker 73-3 under the direction of Lt. J.McCabe and Frankford's Engine/Tanker arrived on scene almost simultaneously, and their crews assisted to check with any extension into the walls along with setting up positive pressure ventilation to clear the residence of any smoke.  Capt. G.Betts placed situation under control and returned all units with the exception of the units on scene. Once crews confirmed there was no extension and that the residence was cleared of all smoke the incident was turned back over to the occupants without incident.
