Engine 731 is a 1983 custom built Sutphen 5 man open cab Class A Engine Company. Engine 1 is equipped with a 1750 gpm. Hale pump, a 1000 gallon boosted tank, and 15 gallons of AFFF. Engine 1 also carries 3 SCOTT 4.5, 45 min. SCBA, 3 pre-connected 1 3/4" attack lines, 1 pre-connected 2" Blitz line, 1000 ft. of 5" LDH, 350 ft. of 3" supply line, and a top mounted Deluge gun. Engine 1 carries an assortment of hand & power tools and is the work horse of the department and is first due on all Box, Structure, Investigations, Haz-Mat, and Assist assignments. This truck was refurbished in 2003 with new wiring, paint, compartment space, poly tank, and front trash line.
