In the afternoon hours on Monday Nov. 28th the DVFD was dispatched for a MVC rollover w/ entrapment. Engine 73-2 responded with a crew of 5 under the command of 73-24 (Lieutenant Betts), EOC advised that a dump truck had rolled over and had power lines down on the vehicle with the subject still inside. 73-24 requested a Rescue out of Station 83 to respond and assist. Crews waited for the power company to ground the lines before extricating the patient. The patient was evaluated by EMS on scene and was released with no injuries. Crews were on scene for approximately 62 minutes before returning to service. Scene was turned over to DSP, DelDot and the power company.
